We recently had the privilege of documenting Emily and Liam’s wedding at the stunning Tithe Barn, and it was an experience to remember. As both photographers and videographers, we strive to capture weddings in their most authentic form—full of genuine emotion and natural beauty. Emily and Liam’s special day was a perfect example of why we love what we do.

Before the ceremony, Emily spent the morning preparing at the Devonshire Arms, a beautiful country house hotel just a short drive from the Tithe Barn. The hotel, set within the picturesque Yorkshire Dales, offered a luxurious backdrop for the bridal preparations. The soft, natural light in the suite complemented the calm excitement of the morning, and we were able to capture intimate moments of the bride with her closest family and friends as they got ready.

The Devonshire Arms’ charming mix of classic elegance and countryside warmth made for some stunning pre-ceremony shots. The bridal suite’s luxurious details, paired with views of the surrounding rolling hills, added an extra touch of beauty to the morning, and set the perfect tone for the day ahead.

Both the day and ceremony honoured Liam’s military background, with a few nods to tradition that added an extra layer of significance to the day. The bond between the couple and their chosen family—the close-knit circle of friends they’ve formed over the years—was a central theme of the celebration. It was clear that this group, bound by shared experiences and unwavering support, played a huge role in their lives, and it was heart-warming to see them come together to celebrate such an important moment.

The Tithe Barn’s large, open layout was perfect for our style of coverage. We could easily move around without being intrusive, giving us the chance to capture candid, authentic moments that really tell the story of the day.

Once the ceremony wrapped up, the celebration really kicked off inside the barn. The open space allowed us to capture all the key moments of the reception, from emotional speeches to the joy-filled first dance. The barn's high ceilings and twinkling fairy lights provided a magical atmosphere, creating the perfect backdrop for the festivities.

Our approach to combining photography and videography ensured we didn’t miss a thing. We were able to capture both the big moments and the subtle, candid interactions that make each wedding so special. Whether it was a wide shot of the entire room or a close-up of guests sharing a laugh, we documented the evening in a way that felt natural and true to the couple’s experience.
