The date of their wedding had been carefully chosen and had special meaning to Olivia. Family is always important on a wedding day but when your grandma is your self-described ‘best friend’ it is extra special. During our wedding consultations we always aim to establish what the most important elements to our couple’s day are. For some couples, it’s the ceremony itself, for others its being on the dancefloor surrounded by all of your friends. For Olivia and Callum, it was family.

There are those who say that all weddings are the same – but this couldn’t be further from the truth. Yes, there are the cornerstones that are almost always present: getting ready, a ceremony, a reception and often a meal but to say these make all weddings the same completely misses what makes a wedding unique. It’s the people. It’s the unique relationships you have to those people. It’s the events and moments that you have planned in to your day. Not to mention every detail you choose from the dress to the flowers to the location. All of this culminates in a day that is uniquely yours (and its all the more special for it).
